Each BloqCloud Customer must represent and warrant that the Customer (i) is not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any country to which the United States has embargoed goods or services, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country; (ii) has not been identified as a “Specially Designated National” by the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) or similar restrictions of any other country; (iii) has not been placed on the U.S. Commerce Department’s Denied Persons List or similar restrictions of any other country; and (iv) will not use any equipment, technical data or software received from Bloq if any applicable laws in its country prohibit it from doing so in accordance with this Agreement (the “Compliance Warranty”). Bloq will not provide or be required to provide use of its Services, Documentation, Bloq Data, Blockchain Data and API Materials to any Customer where the Compliance Warranty would not be true in all respects as determined by Bloq in its sole and absolute discretion.
BloqCloud services are pre-purchased and the invoice needs to be paid prior to service activation.
Prior to BloqCloud plan expiration, email notifications will be sent to warn that a BloqCloud service is about to expire. It is recommended to renew services prior to expiry to prevent disruption. On the day the plan expires, the expired plan and associated services will be terminated. For the Nodes service specifically, this means that any active nodes will be terminated and will need to be re-created if the node is not renewed prior to expiration.
We accept payment with credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club, Union Pay). Cryptocurrency payments (BTC, BCH, ETH) are also provided. Please note that the ETH payment experience is still in the beta phase.
The Connect service provides access to indexed blockchain data. For example, obtain up to date information about address balances, a list of block transactions in a block, or even broadcast a signed transaction to the network.
Both API REST and WebSocket, which allow users to either subscribe to blockchain network events, or use HTTP requests to GET and POST data.
The Nodes service provides access to your own, dedicated blockchain node.
We offer two types of configuration options when starting a node: “Standard” and “High Performing.” The configuration options can affect the hardware specifications used for your node instance (e.g., CPU cores, memory). Each configuration is optimized per blockchain as each blockchain has different hardware requirements to run properly. A node with Standard configuration should address the majority of use cases. A High-Performing node has increased hardware specifications for use cases that demand high performance.
Bloq’s services do not require you to reveal your private keys and they are not stored on Bloq’s infrastructure.
Additionally, when running the Nodes service, wallet functionality has been disabled, preventing the storage of your private keys on nodes.
No. Currently, wallet functionality has been disabled on nodes and therefore, you cannot store private keys required to mine.
